ROZ HAS HER CUDDLE INTERRUPTED!... All our dogs are given the best care we can give them here at Soi Dog & that includes a weekly bath for all residents! We use different shampoo for various skin conditions including anti-flea, anti fungal or just plain "smell gorgeous"! Watch as the lovely Roz has her cuddle interrupted for her weekly wash!

The moment Dr S left my house, I had a gut feeling Pole had escaped again. True enough, when I rushed back to check, she had.
She was not in Bunny’s Place.
I called and heard her mewing. She was up on the 8-foot wall, walking on the ledge. She kept mewing, wanting to come down, but was too afraid.
She kept walking along the wall, not knowing how to come down.

Dr Susanna came today, for Bobby’s and Bunny’s acupuncture.
For Bobby, it would be for his spleen and kidneys.
It’s acupuncture for his general wellbeing so that he won’t “vegetate” all the time.
Bunny came to oversee everything.
Tabs wanted the doggie-treat as well!

Roger's was found and cared for by France and his girlfriend while visiting from Australia. She has probably been owned by a foreigner before & dumped when they left. She obviously can't fend for herself so will be staying at the shelter.
Yet another example of the importance of Soi Dog's sponsorship program. If you are in a position to spare 80 cents a day please consider sponsoring Rogers or one of the many other dogs which we care for.

Sigh…another Fraud Attempt?

A friend just alerted me to the fact that she overheard someone saying she will be applying for our funds to spay her dog, but it’s not a rescued dog and it’s actually a pet. The someone said she will lie to say it’s a rescued animal just to get our funds.
I rest my case, folks.
I’m GLAD we have stopped doing full sponsorship (even for sob-story cases) and we only have a subsidy scheme now.

Escape Attempt At 2am

I was so exhausted with all the unpacking, I fell asleep with the cats and was awakened a few hours later by a noise.
Checked and it was nothing. All the cats were safe.
Cleo then came asking for a snack. Their eating timings have gone a little haywire, what with all the adjustment to the new place, so Cleo must be hungry.
I brought out food for her, and everyone else also came except Indy, who was still fast asleep.
