Our Uncle Ethan passed away on Dec 29th.Uncle Ethan was estimated to be about 15 and had been left tied to a post in Klang in July this year. He was spotted by a young man who handed him over to us. Uncle had various issues such as cataracts, rotting teeth, maggot wounds as well as a big tumour near his underbelly. The vet told us not to operate on him because he may not make it. Heartbreaking

Someone from a shelter called us the other day saying that she had received a distress call from PJ. Apparently an old dog had been abandoned at a five foot way and she was lying there hapless and not daring to move. People were feeding her everyday and someone had brought a towel to cover her almost hairless body. We were told that the dog would be euthanised if taken to the shelter. Our hearts bled when we saw the picture and so we assumed responsibility and directed the dog to our panel vet....

Our Second Day In Our New Home

Yesterday, ever since three readers commented that a cat might get hurt on the new vertical rods I just had installed on the sidegate, I was really freaked out. We went out for dinner, and I rushed back to check that no cat has hurt itself on the gate. I barely slept all night.

Ditta called and sobbed a heart out about a dog she's been feeding in Serdang. Being a Muslim, she was only able to feed the unfortunate dog. Our rescuers went and got the dog and it is now in one of our panel clinic. According to the vet, the dogs has some issues including skin disease and compromised immunity. Monday, December 5, 2011This happened at about 10 pm on the date mentioned above. We found a dying dog outside a house in Taman Gembira, Klang. The owners could not wait for the dog to die and they put it in a garbage bag and placed it on the road outside their gate. The dog's cage which was outside the house was also washed clean and both the water and food bowl were turned downwards. It was pitiful to see the dog groan and writhe before it died. Fosterer needed for this cute cute little girl called ICE CREAM STICK We are urgently seeking a fosterer for this little puppy who now lives in the same place as Justice. Only Subsidy Scheme For Spay-Neuter

Dear all,
As of today, 5th January 2012, we have no more panel vets for spay-neuter.
All rescuers who need financial help are entitled to apply for our subsidy scheme, and here’s a bit of good news, we’ve increased the male cat subsidy to RM80. The rest remains.

A Female Cat Spayed And A Rescued Shih Tzu Neutered

Yesterday, Mrs Lim sent a female cat from her neighbourhood, to be spayed and a rescued male Shih Tzu to be neutered at our panel vets. Both are fully sponsored from our funds.

This Shih Tzu was found abandoned at the roadside. Mrs Lim picked him up, now he is neutered, and he will be sent for MDDB’s adoption drive (according to Mrs Lim).
These two cases will be the last of our fully sponsored spay-neuter cases. As of today, we will only offer our subsidy scheme for all spay...

Pak Din Needs Homes For His Dogs And Puppies

Chew has been the contact person between Pak Din and us since his plight was highlighted to us. He is the one who ferries our dogfood contributions to Pak Din, and in short, Chew helps Pak Din a lot.
A few days ago, Chew told me Pak Din’s puppies were ill again, and it’s suspected poisoning (again). I offered our medical subsidy for their treatment.

Attached herewith are photos of puppies that just rescue by Ah Fatt. As per an old auntie nearby, 2 pregnant mother dogs had been dumped by some 1 to the field. 1 of them give birth to 9 puppies and all their puppies had been caught by MBPJ. When this 2nd female dog gave birth. This old auntie immediately keep them in front of her house. But her neighbour threatened to call MBPJ if she does not dispose of the puppies fast.
