Vincent’s Sardine Dinner Treat

Vincent wasn’t interested at all when I steamed the sardines and chicken this afternoon, but he came into the kitchen at about 6pm.
I tried my new “recipe” of steamed sardines and chicken (yes, both together).
Oooh…Vincent started eating!!

"He is senior dog," Indonesia based rescuer Maxine Chloe said this morning sharing the photo of the elderly dog seen in the first photo here. "The veterinarian says he is about 10 year old, I found him very weak and sick. Now Patrick is at the vet but we need help for his bills. Even $1 or $5, it all will help Patrick. It doesn't matter how small amount is."

Found with half her front leg chopped off, Huda was fighting for her life. Without immediate medical treatment the infection in her leg would have spread rapidly and she would have succumbed to blood poisoning and ultimately a slow and painful death.
Luckily, a kind woman rushed her to Soi Dog after finding her near her house. Huda was absolutely terrified and in immense pain. We have no idea what she has endured and how long she has been suffering so horrendously.

Vincent’s Day

We started the day at 4am this morning. Actually, before that, as Vincent jumped up to sleep beside me at 1.30am.
4.30am – Vincent was hungry and ate a lot. This morning, he wanted home-cooked food! I am glad I thawed a batch last night.
I also very quickly steamed some chicken for him as I know he likes to lick up soup. I put spoonfuls of chicken soup (with cooked liver) into his plate and Vincent licked it all up. I must go get more chicken today, to make chicken essence for Vincent. I...

Is this someone's missing cat? We found this ultra-friendly cat nearly starved to death in Tanjung Bungah. He was clearly someone's pet since he was already neutered when we found him, he's incredibly affectionate with adults and children, and he was immediately comfortable when we brought him indoors. We need to find his owners, or a foster parent before we take off for the holidays. He's a really wonderful cat and quite funny - check out the look on his face in his power-nap pose. Thanks in ad...
