Soi Dog Foundation 3rd Dec 2018, by Soi Dog Foundation
Every day, dogs like Henrietta fight for survival on the streets of Thailand. Many of them won’t make it. Nor will their deaths be mercifully quick and painless. Their eventual release will come slowly – involving agony and suffering on an unimaginable scale. But you have the power to change this.
Please go to https://bit.ly/Help_A_Homeless_Dog to join the Emergency Response Team, funding the rescue and life-saving medical treatment of homeless street dogs that have nobody who cares.
Henri...

Ginger is STILL waiting to find a loving home! Can anybody help him?
Ginger has been at the shelter since being abandoned as a tiny puppy. He lucky to have survived at all, but then went on to be overlooked in a shelter for over 6 years, which is a tragedy. He is now nearly 7 years old with so much life to live. Is he destined to remain here for the rest of his days?
Ginger is full of love and will bring so much joy to the person lucky enough to become his family. Someone has kindly donated t...

My name is Aro. I was living peacefully on the streets of Thailand when some people near my territory wanted to get rid of me.
One day they chased me, and a kind man overheard them say they were going to poison me. Will you please sponsor my care while I live in safety at the Soi Dog shelter? Go to https://bit.ly/sponsor-aro to sign up.
Sadly, this traumatic experience still affects me to this day, meaning I do not readily trust people. Deep down inside, the fear of being hurt remains and this...

Vincent’s Day At Home 2nd Dec 2018, by AnimalCare
It was lunch time and Vincent was upstairs, so I placed his plate of food in front of him and walked away.
Yes, he started eating!
And I slowly walked into the room and I even took a nap while waiting for him to eat. I think I must have slept for at least 15 minutes and when I woke up, he was still eating!

Hungry!
Off to the toilet, after eating.
Nice to be home!
Some wefies.
We left out for tai...

She Only Wishes for One Thing on Her Birthday
____________________________________
Man uela Wroblewski has spent 9 years walking in a daily mission to feed hundreds of homeless cats she discovered in Avsallar, Turkey. She gave up her career, her friends and her family life to stay and care for them. But now, all she wants is to go home to Germany before this mission kills her.
"In all my years of animal rescue, I have never met a woman as relentless in her physical and emotional devotion," Har...

Today Got To Get Involved In Trying To Rescue This.. 2nd Dec 2018, by Dr Rayya's Online Veterinary Journal
Today got to get involved in trying to rescue this exquisite native creature. Noticed member of public distressed and trying to stop him crossing a busy road. Got blankets from other passers by that wanted to offer assistance. Managed to safely restrain him with all the blankets and transport him to my clinic. Team of 3 vets, triaged him with sedatives, pain relief and IV fluids, assessed his wounds and took x-rays. Consulted wildlife vet experts and unfortunately all his left forepaw fingers wer...

Vincent Is Home! 2nd Dec 2018, by AnimalCare
We were at the vet’s this morning to take Vincent home. He hasn’t had any loose stools already so that’s good and he has his appetite back.
The vet showed me how to hold Vincent’s head in place so that the pill popper can be used. Vincent did get a shock but that’s “okay”, and is certainly better than all the violent struggle previously when I used my finger to do it. It was just a 1-2 second “shock”.
The IV was removed and I had brought fres...

Preparing For Vincent To Come Home 2nd Dec 2018, by AnimalCare
I’ve set up the cage for Vincent to have his meals in privacy.
Ginger will almost surely try to disturb and intimidate him, so the option of putting Ginger into Bunny’s Place while Vincent eats remains open. After all, doesn’t Ginger LOVE going into Bunny’s Room? Indy and the girls will not beat him up, so it should be okay.
I hope Vincent’s “loose stools” problem can be settled today so that he can come home. While it’s true that he has better me...

What would you do if you found a tiny, defenceless puppy with one of its legs chopped off? Meet Gracie. At just 2 weeks of age, she has endured suffering so incomprehensible that it defies belief. Will you please go to https://bit.ly/Saving_Gracie right now and pledge whatever you can to help save vulnerable animals like her?
Gracie would be dead already without the support of people like you. Abandoned and all alone in the world, she would have passed away in the most agonising way imaginable...

Cow’s Forewarning Of “impending Doom”…continues 2nd Dec 2018, by AnimalCare
Cow did eat breakfast today. It was business as usual.
But he sneaked into the room after that…
…and refused to go out.
Is there something you would like to tell us, Cow?
Meanwhile, because Cow is inside, the girls refuse to come in.
Cleo: He sprays all over and stinks up the room. It’s so unfair. What “impending doom” are you talking about? He just wants that happy face pillow. If he wants it so much, just give it to him…out in the patio. Please!

“In every heart, there is a hole. In every shelter, there is love
in which to fill it” ~ Colleen Paige
Today is National Mutt Day! This occasion is about embracing, saving and celebrating mixed breed dogs.
We have literally 100's of gorgeous mixed breed dogs just waiting for someone to bring them home and give them the life they dream of. It has been proven that on average, mixed breeds live longer and have better health than a pure-bred pet. What an excellent opportunity to find the perf...

My owner abandoned me in a locked house when he moved. My name is Pichai and the trauma of that experience still haunts me.
I am not very good with other dogs and my horrific past means that I do not trust people I don’t know. I will only allow one person here to walk me and I need a lot of time and patience before I will be ready for a home of my own.
Soi Dog Foundation won’t give up on me but I need your help. Sadly, caring for hundreds of animals like me costs money. Will you please h...

Wrong End?.maybe Not. It May Look Like Marianne Wi.. 1st Dec 2018, by The Great Animal Rescue Chase
WRONG END?
....Maybe Not
It may look like Marianne Willemse has the wrong end of this cow, but she doesn't think so. After all, a cow will do what a cow wants to do and she's perfectly happy to let them live as they wish.
"I love Baba and all the others," Marianne explains fondly with a laugh as Baba turns her back to the camera.
All the farm animals at Marianne's Love Animal House in Thailand were saved from the cooking pot and Harmony Fund helps provide them with food each month, as we ha...
