So, it’s a 250km ride now! The stakes are up!!
Let’s take a look at how much Jon has raised for us so far….

Welcome to Gunung Lesong National Park.
In early 2018, SARAWAK FORESTRY Corporation (SFC), and the nine villages around the mountain, led by Mr. Victor Luna Amin, formed the community-based ecotourism committee, known as “GLCBET." WWF-Malaysia is currently working with Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) and the Gunung Lesong Community-Based Ecotourism Development Committee to see how co-benefit sharing can be implemented for the benefit of the environment and people.

Biodiversity Day Food 22nd May 2019, by WWF Malaysia
🤔💭#DYK That two of the biggest challenges we face today are halting nature loss and feeding a growing population? ⚠🛑
Loss in nature results in the loss of crops🌽 we depend on, which makes our food security less resilient. But how we produce our food is also causing natural ecosystems to shrink. We must transform what we eat and how we grow it, to secure our health🏥, our food 🍳, and our biodiversity🌎.

World Biodiversity Day - Food Blogger Aun Koh 22nd May 2019, by WWF Malaysia
The rise in population and food consumption puts a strain on our 🌏 and the incredible diversity of life it supports - otherwise known as biodiversity! Diets need to transform; not only do we need more plant-based foods🥦, but meat and fish must be sustainable too.🐟
But diets must also fit local cultures and preferences, and be available and accessible to all. 🥒http://wwf.panda.org/our_work/food/sustainable _diets/

World Biodiversity Day - Food Diversity 22nd May 2019, by WWF Malaysia
🤔 💭#DYK we (or the world) get(s) nearly 50% of our plant-based calories from just three crops? Even though we could be eating thousands?
Without diversity in what we eat, our food system is less resilient to diseases and pests😷. The biodiversity we need to protect includes crops🌾 and animals we eat🐔, not just wild species 🦍🦒🦏.
As a consumer, you can do your part by eating a wider variety of foods 🥒🍄🍗🍱.

Please take a moment to look at these pictures of Keane. He has experienced unbearable suffering. Someone placed an elastic band around his mouth and just left it there. Please donate so that rescues like this can continue! https://bit.ly/Saving_Keane
The kind person who found Keane brought him straight to the Soi Dog shelter. The elastic band had left a deep wound all around his mouth and this poor boy was in unbearable pain. Who knows how long he’d been like this?

Photos From Soi Dog Foundation's Post 22nd May 2019, by Soi Dog Foundation
It is funny how a visit to Soi Dog can change your life and lead you to adopting two beautiful companions. Back in 2017, Francoise volunteered at the shelter and shortly after, adopted her first Soi Dog Jidai. This year she decided it was time to welcome another Soi Dog into her loving home. After careful consideration, sweet Huda was the lucky dog she chose to join her and her family in France!
“Huda made it to Paris! She's adjusting really well and making friends with her Soi Dog sister Ji...
