Dragonfive, now known as Dusky, is one of the many lucky dogs who found their #furrytailending last year. This handsome boy came to our shelter after being struck and injured in a road traffic accident. No one knew if he would ever fully recover. He underwent intensive physiotherapy and hydrotherapy for months, which helped relieve the pain he was suffering from the accident. ...

Did You Know, The Skeletons Of Sharks And Rays Are.. 9th May 2019, by WWF Malaysia
Did you know, the skeletons of sharks and rays are made up of cartilage, not bones? Cartilage is lighter and more flexible, meaning they’re perfectly adapted for speed and agility in the ocean. The biggest threat to sharks and rays is overfishing. Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) play a key role in protecting these species. Find out more about how MPAs can help sharks and rays here: https://sharks.panda.org/

Zurik And My Finger 9th May 2019, by AnimalCare
I weighed Zurik last night.
Drum rolllllll……
He tipped the scales at 4.5kg!!!
Every little bit of increase is celebratory!!!
When Zurik was first diagnosed with suspected FIP, he only weighed 3.9kg. During his hey day, he was a robust 6.5kg and even Cow lost in a fight with him. He inflicted “invisible” blunt force trauma (with his internal taiji yin-energy) and we wouldn’t even have known about it if we hadn’t checked Cow thoroughly. No puncture wounds, hen...

These two kittens were dumped at a food stall near our cattery in Rawang. Perhaps the person thought that there will be good for the kittens there. Little did the person know that there are also strays dogs around the area and the little ones weren’t safe there. We took them home making sure that at least they are safe and have shelter and food. If you wish to donate kitten wet food ( Whiskas brand ), you can send to our panel clinic at Batu Caves. By post or by hand. Please comment or pm us f...

Did you know my name means ‘Red Water’ in Thai? Hi there, I am Namdange and I am in desperate need of a home. I was found suffering on the streets by a member of the Community Outreach Program. When she drove by, I was skinny, weak and had an issue with my eyes and skin. What started as mild discomfort, had progressed into something much more severe. Luckily I was brought into the Soi Dog hospital and given veterinary treatment, which provided me with immediate relief. With time, my fur slow...

Meet Mobiliya and her six babies. They were found by one of our Animal Rescue Officers, deep in the jungle. They were huddled together, with no access to food or water. They were infested with ticks and had terrible skin problems.
Please go to https://bit.ly/Saving_Homeless_Pups to donate now for the rescue, shelter, and ongoing medical care of unwanted dogs like this little family. They have done nothing to deserve such a hideous fate.
The pups are only a few weeks old and were weak and emac...
