Growing Up Together
23rd May 2016, by PetFinder.my

Growing Up Together There is no friendship that compares to the bond between a person and their dog. Highlighting this bond is the above video, which shows a baby and puppy mutually enjoying a wild duck exploring their front yard. The two buddies seem fascinated by the duck…and a little wary. Exactly where did this duck come from? Why is it on their property? Maybe the duck is scoping the place out so that it can return later at night. Craning their heads, the two keep a watchful eye. After ...

Two Specially Ordered Doggie Bags
23rd May 2016, by AnimalCare

We wish to thank our long-time supporter, PC Leong, for ordering two doggie bags and his kind donation of RM176 for them! PC ordered two canvas bags – one with a maltese and one with a pekingese. I searched for photos from the internet, asked my mum if she could make them, and then I sent three photos to PC for him to choose. We dearly hope the bags are made to PC’s liking. The maltese. I sewed a green background for it so that the white would stand out. PC has ...

Lee Chin Chin’s Cats
22nd May 2016, by AnimalCare

Lee Chin Chin is one of the five members in the group of ladies (led by Wong Yee Heng) who collectively claim for about 20 animals per week. I was able to communicate with Ms Lee this evening and requested for photos of the cats whom she feeds on a daily basis. Ms Lee requires about 100kg for petfood per month to feed these cats. Her rescue areas cover Kepong, Jinjang as well as Ampang. According to Ms Lee, “there is no end to this work”. There is rampant dumping, especially in...

This is a classic 9-patch blanket, which I had a lot of fun sewing. This is a classic patchwork, as patchy as it gets! We prefer to work with squares and rectangles because we can align the grain of the cloth. This design is made with motifs of 9 pieces of 5 inch squares sewn together from ...

Cat Stuck In Fence
21st May 2016, by PetFinder.my

Take this stray cat that was wandering around Los Angeles for example. Last week the LA Animal Services Specialized Mobile Animal Rescue Team came to this poor cat’s res...
