We’ve begun revamping some of the enclosures at our Main Sanctuary Area, and the giant Asian pond turtles were the first to enjoy our renovation work! Problem is, we’re not sure where Boltz is!

The rescued animals at the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre (AWRC) never cease to amaze us with their abilities, and often surprise us by finding new places to hide inside their naturalistic enclosures!

Cleo’s Hotspots

Cleo’s hotspots were treated with iodine since 1st September. However, there was very little improvement.
Then I remembered Oreo telling me about a colloidal silver product called Biosilver and he had sent me some information on it. I read up and thought it might just help with the hotspots, so I got a bottle on 3rd September. And I did consult the vet if I could use it for Cleo.
We stopped the iodine and only used the Biosilver.
It has really helped.

Prochlorperazine For Tiger’s Seizures

We tried supplements. We tried acupuncture and TCM. But Tiger was still throwing seizures and when he threw cluster seizures on 2nd September, I decided it’s time to try a western drug. So far, we had not resorted to drugs yet. It was just western supplements (vitamins), a natural (homeopathic) supplement and TCM.
The seizures on 2nd September were quite bad, actually.
