Tiger Day 30

It’s Day 30 today. And I’m pleased to say that yesterday’s new sores on the left hip are drying up AND I thought I didn’t see any new sores earlier today, until this evening….
Tiger ran for his life when he sensed I was going to take photo of his sores!
But I managed to get a good look several times earlier today, and nope, there were no new sores and the rest were drying up.

Yesterday, our story ended with Mary taking Capri back to Kedah. The vet said to wait for another 6 days or if Capri goes into labour, Mary would have to rush Capri down to Penang for the C-section. The puppy is simply too big to be delivered normally, both vets had attested to this based on the X-Rays and ultrasound.

On the 27th of December, 2013, a resident of Skudai, Johor discovered a dog with a disfigured face and contacted MDDB. Innumerable maggots squirmed around what used to be the dog's snout. A distress notice was immediately posted on our Facebook page to alert nearby community volunteers.Spotted in Skudai, JohorIt did not take long for one of our followers to respond to the emergency. It’s Oscar, enjoying the view from the window of HIS office!
Oscar was an abandoned Persian mix cat, a former pet. He rescued in an emaciated stick-thin condition in February, but is now enjoying life in Connie’s office! He is fatter too and has already been neutered. Connie says when she brought him back from the clinic (after being neutered), Oscar was bouncing around very happily, as though saying, “Yay! A kind tourist discovered this cute little kitty at a staircase in Cyberjaya and couldn't resist rescuing the lonely, meowing girl. The lady will be leaving very soon but does not have the heart to release this fragile little kitty back into the streets.
