Unfortunately, Hamidah says her vet did not give her a vaccination card, so we cannot subsidise the vaccination.

Yesterday, a rescuer-friend called me asking if I knew of any vets in Penang who was able to do a caesarian section on a pregnant dog. Her sister, Mary Way, lives in Kedah and had rescued a poodle recently. The poodle was in very bad shape and Mary had already brought the poodle, named Capri, to two vets in Kedah. None of these vets managed to detect that the poodle was pregnant. Instead, Capri was given vitamins, diarrhoea medication and even had a dental job done under anaesthesia.

Spaying Subsidy For 3 Female Cats From Bentong (Liaw Jarn Ling’s)

Ms Liaw had been doing TNRM for cats for many, many years before she found out about our subsidies last year. Since then, we have been sponsoring all her TNRM efforts. Since Ms Liaw is not internet-savvy, SPCA Selangor sends us the photos on behalf of her. Ms Liaw drives the cats all the way from Bentong to SPCA Selangor for the procedures.
