Lilica The Selfless Dog
21st Jan 2015, by PetFinder.my

A once-homeless street dog has been caught on video risking life and limb to feed her extended animal family in a Brazilian junkyard. Lilica has spent the last three years traveling four miles down dark, dangerous roads each night to the home of animal lover Lucia, who gives the dog a bag of food. The Three Amigos @ Petaling Jaya http://www.petfinder.my/pets/64986 Hola, amigo! Meet the 3 Amigos, with sweet mischievous eyes that can instantly melt your heart. Just like their Puss-In-Boots amigo. Lucky is the most mischievous of the bunch; Dusty, well, has a little dust speck on his nose; and Ned spots distinctive cream-colored patches around his eyes that looks like he's wearing a mask (Zorro's counterpart, perhaps!). Don't make amigo wait too long. Hasta la vista! http://www.petfinder....

HAPPINESS IS A TRUNK FULL OF CAT FOOD! Harmony Fund enjoyed delivering another surprise recently when we sponsored the purchase of cat food for a very special rescuer in need of help. "Donna feeds four colonies of feral cats," volunteer Tracie Mitchum of Charleston, South Carolina explains. "The local shelter is trying to go no-kill and just recently an animal control officer admitted to dumping two more cats at her colonies. Donna is already overwhelmed with trying to manage work and a thrown...

Our Savannah Monitor Lizard's New Enclosure
20th Jan 2015, by Animal Concerns Research & Education Society (ACRES)

In April 2014, we shared a video which showed Adisa, our savannah monitor lizard's enclosure. However, we felt that her cage enclosure's vertical space did not suit it as Savannah monitor lizards are known to be primarily ground dwelling animals. We have currently changed her enclosure which has more horizontal space as opposed to vertical. Now she has more space to stretch out and walk around then before. The old video can be viewed at: https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=101520889048 71523&s...

Deeply Touched And Blessed By Angels Without Wings
20th Jan 2015, by AnimalCare

Today I am deeply touched by the kind gestures of AnimalCare’s good friends. You’d remember that 15 blankets were given away last month to those who have helped us in kind, silently and anonymously through the years. 11 of those blankets are now coming back to AnimalCare to be auctioned for fundraising! I was so surprised! The friends who have taken these blankets were merely keeping them safe to give me time to recover and reconsider my decision. They just took them off me to light...
