Christmas, A Shih Tsu Was Rescued From The Streets..
5th Jan 2015, by MDDB & MCCP Penang

Christmas, a Shih Tsu was rescued from the streets on the day of Christmas Eve. In a way, perhaps its God's will to answer her prayers thus sending her an Angel in human form to rescue her from misery. She was found in a very pathetic state. We do not understand how any human could walk away, seeing the sight of her at such. She has many punctured holes all over her head and face. Foul smell was coming from the multiple wounds and her skin was in a really poor condition. Her eye has ulcer, causi...

WALLY NEEDS A FOSTER HOME URGENTLY! He's loyal. He'll sit down with you, get up when you get up just to make sure you don't get into any danger. When something seems strange he'll let you know. He'll be excited to see you. But people in the past have not been kind to Wally. He needs someone he can trust, and has the patience to earn it. Someone confident to show him that there's nothing to be afraid of. He needs someone with the skills, experience and determination to rehabilitate him. Could yo...

Romeo @ Selangor http://www.petfinder.my/pets/63812 Romeo is a very sweet, charming and adorable kitten. Romeo had a heartbreaking past (no, he didn't break any ladies' hearts). Just last Sat (3 Jan) afternoon, SPCA rescued a community dog from being trapped between the metal rails, of a fence, at Old Choa Chu Kang Road. The dog, a brown Cross-Breed, was observed to have been stuck in its tight spot for some time. (It might’ve attempted to jump through the fence, leading to its predicament.) Our rescue officer, Eugene, then attempted to free the dog, nudging rearwards its shoulder blades, one and then the other, through the gap. (It helped that the dog was suitabl...

Do you know? "Have you ever heard anyone saying I saw a Komodo dragon in the river!" Well, on our sunny island Singapore, there are no Komodo dragons that can be found here in the wild. In fact the ones you see are the water monitor lizards, part of our precious native wildlife! Like many of their counterparts on our island, they face threat from loss of natural habitats to being misunderstood hence seen as pest. Like most of the wildlife out there too, these lizards are shy creatures, prefe...
