Another weekend passed, another 17 animals successfully adopted!
We bid a fond farewell to
- 2 dogs (both Shih-Tzus),
- 3 kittens,
- 4 cats,
- 3 rabbits,
- 4 guinea pigs (all Abyssinians) &
- 1 hamster,
for having found their forever homes, thus embarking on new journeys with their respective new owners/families. Thank you, adopters, for believing in the positive difference they’ll make to your homes!
We wish these animals all well, and are sure they’ll add meaning and depth to the live...

Did you know that one should never intentionally ride on an elephant?
Especially on a man-made seat fitted onto their back, resting on the highest arch where the spinal chord is constantly pressed against with weight that is not suppose to be? Plus the sharp bull hooks used to jabbed into an elephant's sensitive skin causes them immense pain too.
Have you seen a ride like this before and if you did, would you think twice before you attempt an elephant ride in the future?

Jon Tham, who recently suffered from a cracked shinbone due to an accident, is now back on his feet after being on crutches for 2 months. He is training from scratch to run in an ultra marathon (50km) in Penang on 6th September 2014. This Is Buddy, The Cancer Dog That Wendy Rescued F..

This is Buddy, the cancer dog that Wendy rescued from the streets. It has been a week since her surgery and she is still recuperating at Peng Aun Veterinary Clinic.
Buddy is doing good and coping well after the operation but she is still not ready to be discharged yet as some of her wounds look moist and to prevent any infection during this period, it's better to let her stay put in the clinic.
We shall continue to keep everyone updated with her progress.

Bunny Bun Buns Is Back To Active Duty

Well, he was already back to active duty after 2 days, which is amazing, considering that he had not one, but FIVE puncture wounds, but yes, Bunny is back!
No more limping and no more “muka kesian” or resting paw on cat pillow.
Bunny is back to his mischievous ways again!
Back to his normal routine of playing at the Clubhouse after breakfast this morning.
Wounds dried up, including that one deep puncture wound.
These two bite wounds are healing well too.
