Dogfood Sponsorship For Kluang’s Community Dogs (Tan Mei Lian’s)

We have fully sponsored RM274.90 for rice, chicken parts and a pack of Sportmix for the 70+ dogs whom Tan Mei Lian feeds in Kluang, Johor. This sponsorship comes from our Food Fund.
Mei Lian works as a service personnel in a water filter company by day. Every night, she goes out to 7 different locations in Kluang to feed the dogs. We are also helping Mei Lian’s community dogs with our Medical Fund.

APSP and SPCA SEBERANG PERAI will be conducting an Adoption Drive on October 5th, from 7-10pm at Autocity (in front of Shop-In d'Park).
Some of the puppies removed from MPSP Dog Pound will also be put up for adoption on that day.

It’s the weekend again and I found a little bit of time to work on the Teddy Bear Blankie last night…
I crossed the halfway mark last night!
All sewn by hand (because I don’t have a sewing machine!). Don’t judge it yet, please, I need to iron it first, and there is another top-sew to be done.

We thank readers who had written in to ask about this dog, but Stacy Tay has not updated us with any news at all. The surgery was scheduled on Tuesday and we had given Stacy’s friend step-by-step guidelines in setting up the PetFinder.my account, which has already been done.
We hope the dog is well.

Some fantastic news on Mia's recovery progress. Sabrina, a member of our macaque response team, has been visiting Mia daily to help with her physio.
On today's visit, Mia was able to move her left leg on her own and even managed to grip Sabrina's finger with her toes!!! This is a sure sign that Mia is recovering at a great speed, and Sabrina reports that each day Mia is gaining strength and that Mia is still very much as wild as when she was rescued.

Medical Subsidy For Parvo Puppy (RIP) In Kluang (Tan Mei Lian’s)

Tan Mei Lian looks after many colonies of dogs and puppies in Kluang, Johor. Recently, a litter of new puppies were infected with parvovirus. A few did not make it despite medical treatment. This is one of them.
The bill for is puppy is RM350. We have subsidised RM175 for it. This subsidy comes from the AnimalCare Donors (RM75) and Berjaya Cares (RM100).
