Today, we made our last subsidy payment using the Berjaya Cares Funds (RM50,000) received on 7th May 2013. Since that date, we have been paying out subsidies (above RM20) for neutering and medical treatment using the ratio of about 60:40 (Berjaya:AnimalCare). Berjaya Cares Funds were not used to pay food sponsorship at all. These came from the AnimalCare Fund and individual donors.

UPDATE ON SETIA ALAM CASE
Hi friends, SPCA Selangor Inspectors have already gone to investigate on Friday but the owner was not in. The owner called us back on Saturday morning. He has agreed to take the dog to the vet to be treated for his skin problems, and we have advised him to fix his main gate as soon as possible so the dog does not need to be tied up. Spaying Subsidy For Somet, Female Cat (Marina Bt Mustapha’s)

We have subsidised RM100 for the spaying of Somet. This subsidy comes from the AnimalCare Donors (RM54) and Berjaya Cares (RM46). With this subsidy, we have fully disbursed all of the Berjaya Cares Funds received since 7th May 2013. A full list will be published later today.
