Perhilitan (Wildlife Dept) Came 25th Mar 2013, by AnimalCare
I made an e-complaint (http://perhilitan.wildlife.gov.my/e_aduan/index.p hp) to seek the help of the Wildlife Department (Perhilitan) to check for nests. The complaint was made on Friday evening and first thing this morning, they called me to make an appointment to come.
It’s 10.30am now and the three officers have just left. They looked around the area but advised that it is very difficult for them to locate the nests as snakes normally nest inside water pipes or underground. It is almost...

May Kitty Orange Rest In Peace (a Sharing By Siti Azura Juih) 25th Mar 2013, by AnimalCare
Azura wrote to me last week regarding medical subsidy for this kitten she rescued from her neighbourhood. We informed her that we will definitely subsidise the case and to go ahead and do everything possible to save the kitten’s life. Azura did. The kitten was treated, subsequently discharged but shortly after, passed away.
As Azura says, Kitty Orange may have only had a short life, but the last leg of her journey was showered with love and care by Azura. Kitty Orange may even have been so...

THEY ARE SAFE!
http://animalrescuechase.com/
Last week we told you that a mass rescue was planned in Spain. Here are a few of the dogs who came in ... many still to go including a pair of hunting dogs that are being deliberately starved of food and water as they haven't performed up to standard.
Thank you to all the Harmony Fund supporters who enable us to reach out to dogs like these. The only reason these dogs are alive is because Viv Actin volunteers have been feeding them through the fenc...

Updates On 24th Mar 2013 24th Mar 2013, by The Great Animal Rescue Chase
What a lovely sight for a Sunday. Here is the beautiful Emma waiting for her breakfast in Bulgaria. At the shelter she would not eat, even if she was hand fed. But now, at the home of Little Angels Founder Candy Sasse, she is waiting for food in the kitchen and loving it. Her broken soul is being mending at last.
Thank you all for the wonderful donations you have sent this month for our work in Bulgaria. Our supporters are such a blessing!http://animalrescuechase.com/donation/bul garia.html

After The Fight… 24th Mar 2013, by AnimalCare
Half an hour after the fight, I went to check on everyone…
Daffodil and Ginger had decided it’s much safe to stay on the sofa.
Rosie is independent and not afraid.
The loving mum grooms her son.
We had long concluded that Ginger is the younger son and Rosie is the big sister.
He’s very, very pampered by his mother and sister. He’ll just go to them and they would start grooming him.
Timmy is happily sitting on his chair.
Starry is no where to be seen.
Maybe he h...

A Visitor…for Starry?? 24th Mar 2013, by AnimalCare
It’s all so coincidental, I was just telling my mother (who dropped in today with a batch of keychains) about Starry and Willy Orange, how they both appeared when a neighbour moved away. And how Willy had just “disappeared into thin air” after appearing with Starry for a few days.
We haven’t seen Willy ever since. Of course I hoped he has been adopted by a family nearby.
Then, moments ago, I heard the sound of cats growling at the patio.
It sounded like a cat fight was ab...

Timmy, The Good Guy 24th Mar 2013, by AnimalCare
Amongst the Patio Family, if we were to vote, Timmy wins hands down for being the most lovable and obedient cat.
He’s just very, very grateful that he has a place to stay now and doesn’t have to hop from blue dustbin to blue dustbin at the playground.
This chair is his “house”.
Hey Timmy!
Timmy tries very hard to make friends with our cats.
Yesterday, there was a glimmer of hope of friendship taking place as Indy rolled over in response to Timmy’s cons...
