On the 1st of July 2011, 9 pedigree rabbits were found abandoned in a cramp, rusty and dirty cage at the void deck of Block 395 Tampines Avenue 7. The rabbits were suffering from a range of conditions, from respiratory infections, skin problems, overgrown teeth, diarrhoea, dehydration, liver inflammation to tilted heads and missing ears. The House Rabbit Society (HRSS) is currently caring for the rabbits.
We are offering $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person...

A Race Against Time....kittens Adopted!

Punitha, Nandhini and I must have spent a fortune on smses and phonecalls this morning, racing against time to find a fosterer or adopter for the two kittens (the ones I named "Creamie and Crackers"). We're looking for a home(s) for these three cats living outside in Central Massachusetts. They've all been spayed/neutered but are living in a backyard situation. Two of the cats are very friendly and the third is a little shy. We'd love to find them a place(s) for them to live before the next season of snow arrives. Urgently Required - Fosterer For Two Baby Kittens

I blogged this two days ago, but we have not been able to find any fosterer or adopter for these baby kittens. The rescuer, Wei Kien, only has until today after which he plans to surrender the kittens to the shelter where there is a strong possibility they would be put down because they are still too young. I can still recall the excitement I felt at seeing my first kangaroo in Australia. It was at a wildlife park in Perth. Lulu, Female Cat For Adoption

She was the 9th cat that was caught and spayed/neutered.One person was supposed to come and collect and put in safe sanctuary (after beingpaid the fees) but did not turn up.Lulu was left at the clinic for 2 weeks in the cage. Mrs Lim's Male Cat Neutered

Amy Tham was supposed to help Mrs Lim catch a female cat for spaying, but they landed up with a male cat instead because the female got away!So, anyway, they brought the male to be neutered this morning.
