Since we feel very strongly about local council pounds and the dogs placed there, we carry out several pound rescues in a year. Currently we have three adult dogs and three puppies from the Klang pound. Initially there were seven puppies but four did not make it. Here are the three pups that a ready for adoption. A lady came all the way from Seri Petaling to meet us at one of our adoption drives and told us about this dog which was kept tied-up behind some houses.The only shelter the poor dog had was a gap in some broken concrete slabs that made-up the pavement in the backlane. THIS Chow Chow was found loitering around the LDP near the Kelana Jaya LRT station. Miss C was rescued by MDDB members Myers Shane and Koo Swee Por. She is in the pink of health and will be returned to owner if they come to claim her. We do hope that she is reunited with her owner. HERNIA BOY a.k.a James Dean came to us about a year ago after he was hit by a car in Kapar. His feeder Irena Tan contacted us and we went and removed Hernia Boy from the streets and admitted him to a veterinary clinic in Klang.Both his legs were splayed and initially it was thought that he had suffered severe spinal cord injury.However, the vets found that he had suffered from diagrammatic hernia and needed urgent surgery.
