Landmark Resolution: San Francisco Recognizes The Rights Of Whales And Dolphins 24th Oct 2014, by SPCA Singapore
In the U.S., San Francisco declares that "every whale and dolphin has the right to be free from a life in captivity, to remain unrestricted in their natural environment", in a landmark ruling announced earlier this week. This resolution is the very first of its kind in the US.
(In the local context, SPCA and ACRES have, in this connection, urged Resorts World Sentosa to release its remaining wild-caught dolphins, following the dolphin deaths linked to its Marine Life Park attraction.)

During this festive season, it’s not just firecrackers that are frightening the animals, but also “fire bombs” which really sound like bombs exploding.

It started about 3 weeks ago with a small red patch on the neck below the right ear.
The skin would turn red and it looked inflamed, but there was no puncture of any kind. I sprayed Path-Away and the next day, it would dry up, a scab would form, but the patch gradually grew bigger.
It starts as a red patch, then dries up, covered with a scab.

Bunny And His Happy Earth Herbs 23rd Oct 2014, by AnimalCare
It’s been almost three weeks that Bunny started on his Happy Earth Chinese herbs to address his frequent vomiting problem. The herbs are supposed to strengthen his stomach and spleen qi (energy).
As with all herbs, it takes time to work, so from frequent vomiting, it gradually decreased to vomiting once every 3 days and now his condition seems to be improving.
He just needs a small pinch of the herbal powder twice daily, taken with his food. It’s not a problem in feeding Bunny as Bun...

Stalking Mr Igor?
Mr Igor visits daily and gets the leftover kibbles.
He comes and goes happily, as he pleases.
None of the cats chase him these days. He’s a frequent visitor, accepted by all.
It’s just a matter of time before even carnivores like cats learn to live and let live.
The earth belongs to everyone.
