Tawny Frog Mouth: Trick Or Treat
2nd Nov 2011, by Dr Rayya's Online Veterinary Journal

It has been a very intense two weeks at work. We have cases coming out of our ears as grass seed season has kicked in. We have started to get people walking in with their poor pooch shaking their heads or rubbing their eyes or licking their paws. It is only the beginning of this very frantic schedule we will be faced with any day now. Personally, the hardest part about this frantic season is finding the time to manage challenging cases, following up on ongoing cases & answering to all the de...

My First Book At Kindle Store, Amazon
1st Nov 2011, by AnimalCare

Many thanks to Andy Koh, I've put up my latest book, Do We Have a Choice? for sale at Kindle Store, Amazon.com.Why is it for sale? Because I cannot put up any free book at Kindle Store. The minimum price is 99 cents. So, I've priced it as that.   Why did I put it up there?  So that the message can reach out to a much wider worldwide audience.  Kindle is currently not available in Malaysia yet, but I know of two people who already have the device. It's an e-book reader, and it...

1 Male Cat Neutered (Valerie Lim's)
1st Nov 2011, by AnimalCare

From Valerie Lim: Dear Dr Chan,My mom had came across your article in The Star newspaper. In the last year, she had took in a stray cat without realising it was pregnant. It had "adopted" us and we let it stay in the house compound as we feel pity of its state. It soon gave birth to 2 kittens which one had survived and left Meow Meow with us. About 3-4 months later, Mommy Cat came back with 2nd batch of kittens which Eik Eik survived. At this point, we only realised how fast cats can re-prod...

Indy's Back Home!!
1st Nov 2011, by AnimalCare

After the Blueys were adopted by Andy, Indy started coming back on that very same day and he started "talking" again. So, I think it wasn't a coincidence that he had run away earlier. He WAS jealous of the Blueys. Indy is only three years old, so he's still young. Young human children get jealous too, don't they?  Things are pretty much back to normal now. He still goes over to sleep under the neighbour's car, but he's back more often now. He lounges in the living room and on his grani...
