It is very interesting how Mr G comes every day. He follows the same, exact route, without fail.

Litter Tales, Again!

After weeks of experimenting with various litter, I have settled for OKO Plus. Note that I said “I” and not my cats, because my cats still prefer Ever Clean.
However, I found out that Ever Clean uses high quality bentonite (clay), and because it is high quality (which explains its price(!) and why it clumps so incredibly well), it is dust free. Don't breed and buy. Spay your pets. Stop contributing to the number of strays of the street.
The shelter has been receiving increasing number of pregnant mamas lately, eventually giving birth in the shelter. Some newborns survived, some don't.

Ann Returns, Victor Bids Farewell

So, Ann was returned not too long ago as she did not seem to be able to adapt well with her new adopted family. The adopter decided to return Ann and took Victor back home instead! Mangy Has A Home Now With Maslinda

Mangy was rescued about two weeks ago by Prem. At that time, Mangy was…well, very “mangy”. Prem asked if Maslinda could take Mangy and if so, she would see to the mange treatment, vaccination and spaying.
Maslinda agreed and today, Mangy received her last jab and is well enough to join Maslinda’s cat-neighbourhood.
Mangy? Sure doesn’t look it anymore!

URGENT: Puppy Fosterer Needed (Mr Donald Tan’s)

Mr Donald Tan (012-9021173) called me just now seeking help. His wife had just picked up a puppy from the rain and he doesn’t know how to look after it. In fact, he had driven all the way to PAWS to surrender the puppy but it was closed. I asked for a photo of the puppy, but he did not have a camera phone and doesn’t know of anyone who would have one.
I asked if the eyes are open and Mr Tan said yes. He also said the puppy seems healthy and is “running around”.
