Indy Attempts An Escape…and Fails (shh…) 22nd Mar 2012, by AnimalCare
Two days ago, after breakfast, Indy was no where to be found.
I looked high and low, and high again, and…
Indy!! What are you doing up there?
Clearly, he was bored of being on dry land, so he thought he’d see if there was a way out.
Might was well let him try so that he knows there was no way out…or was there?
Nope, no way out. Our masked hero returns to dry land.
And took it out on the poor (toy) caterpillar head.
It’s a softtoy (has catnip) and they dismembe...

More Litter Tales 22nd Mar 2012, by AnimalCare
A friend gave me a packet of cat litter to try the other day…
It is a Japanese brand and everything was in Japanese so I didn’t know what it contained.
It’s supposed to clump very well. Unfortunately, it has very, very strong perfume.
And only Tabs used it. But the clumping is fantastic, even better than Ever Clean.
However, I don’t want to use perfumed litter and I do wonder what chemical is used for the excellent clumping.
Oh, oh…you’re not going to...

Blender, Food Tales And Other Stuff 22nd Mar 2012, by AnimalCare
Yesterday, I made a huge blunder that cost me my beloved Braun blender…sobs.

Kunyit stain is about the worse kind, I know, and after I stopped the blender and put everything into the sink to investigate, ...

We Have Migrated To The Gators! 22nd Mar 2012, by AnimalCare
Hi folks, I think we have successfully migrated to Hostgator.com’s servers now, though I’m not sure. This is a “testing, testing” post to see if it comes up. My last night’s post on Kandu is missing, I know, and some of your comments have not been posted yet because the site is still unstable. Will do all this later, when the site is more stable. See ya later, alligator (how apt!).

Sunnies’ Photos!!! (from Rozita Halim) 22nd Mar 2012, by AnimalCare
Something that cheers me up the most is when adopters send me photos and news of the little kittens I’ve had the privilege of fostering.
Rozita Halim adoped the Sunnies from me last year, and they have been thriving under her and her family’s loving care.
Let’s look at some flashback photos first:
The day they arrived.
A student found them abandoned in a box by the roadside in KL. I blogged for fosterers; there were no takers.
So, they came to me.
I called them Rex, Fox a...

A Kitten Dumper’s Modus Operandi (from A Reader) 21st Mar 2012, by AnimalCare
From one of our readers:
Yesterday, there is this indian foreign worker that rode a bicycle and dump kittens at various locations at my housing area. I heard a kitten meowing while I was bathing my dog. When I went out to have a look, I saw this little fella trying to cross the busy street in front of my house. I picked the kitten up, not sure what to do. After abt 20 mins or so, there’s this loud meowing again passing by my house. Saw this indian fella riding cycling towards a small road...

SPCA PENANG Animal Shelter’s
PICK OF THE WEEK
To YOU — we are just dogs and cats,
To US– You are the bridge…
Between what was and what could be…
Our hope to a new life.
Hi – how are you? I am fine but I could be so much happier to tell you the truth.
I currently spend my time sitting in my kennel doing some thinking and going down memory lane.
I remember vividly a time when my two buddies and myself would run free with the wind on our backs all through the vegetable gardens, slip...
