Dogfood Fund Raising For Meiji's 128 Dogs

I've written many times about Meiji, a lady who single-handedly runs a dog sanctuary up on the hills of Raub where there are currently 128 dogs. We have been helping Meiji with the spay-neuter bills of her dogs and also the medical treatment at our panel vets or at her vets in Ampang or UPM. We received a call from someone a few days ago saying that there was a sick dog lying splayed near the Taman Chi Liung Public Bank. It was already past 10.00pm and we were in PJ when we received the call. We asked if the caller could either take the dog home and we'll pick it up the following day or send it to our half-way-home immediately. He refused to do both. UNCLE at the clinic after teeth extraction and wound cleaning recently.Our Uncle was not well recently after a mysterious maggot wound appeared in his mouth. So, he went in for treatment, was warded and is now back with his fosterers. Many of his teeth were extracted at the clinic as it was suspected that the wound would have started there. MIMI CHITTA - all healed and well.Both Ma Barker and Minmi Chitta have been discharged and sent to two different places. Ma Barker has been neutered and given a clean bill of health (she had a lump in one of her teats which had been surgically removed) and sent back to her owner in Semenyih.Sadly, the owner could not take Mimi Chitta back and we understand why she can't. As promised, the Blueys got their Baby Cat kibbles today.The vet always advises to give SMALL amounts because we don't want a sudden drastic change of food to cause the much-feared diarrhoea in kittens. So, small amounts it is.....and Baloo absolutely loved it! Bagheera didn't quite know what it was at first... Until Baloo showed her...It's food! It can be eaten!
