REMEMBER TWIGGY?... One of the saddest dogs we've ever seen. Twiggy was rescued from the Bangkok floods. Photographed here so weak, she could barely stand. Last week Twiggy flew to the UK to meet her new mum "Geraldine". She's settling in beautifully & has a new best friend - Geraldine's two year old great grandaughter "lily".

Pammi Update
Pammi continues to improve & I was wanting to take her into the garden today for a run about but sadly it's raining & I don't want to expose her to the damp or drop in temperature that this brings - maybe tomorrow. Yesterday she went to the shelter for her final interferon, she hates going as she knows needles will be stuck in her - quite a wimp really :-) Cindy & Derek arrived just after her treatment had finished & Cindy took some pictures of her for me as she is sooo much better ...

A rabbit grooming workshop is going on now at the SPCA in collaboration with House Rabbit Society of Singapore ( HRSS) as we speak(11am-1pm). During this hands on sessions, participants are learning tips and tricks to grooming and at the same time bonding with their rabbits. If you are interested in attending future courses, please email educationpr@spca.org.sg with your name and HP number to be put on the waiting list for the next course. Honestly, I think these dogs are like your Mac and a dog we had when I was growing up. They just bark for hours on end at NOTHING. Simply because they feel like barking. Koo just texted to say the monsoon drain black dog has been successfully rescued and is out of the drain now.
Further updates this evening as I’m off to the Canine Caviar event now.
It’s a great day!
Updates at 10.38am – Ee Lin will take responsibility for the dog. Her family will foster the dog for a few days to look for the owner.

Maslinda brought Super and Maxie to the vet’s today as both were having fever. Maxie had the herpes virus earlier but survived the critical 3 day period, so she should be okay, but now, mother-and-daughter are down with the flu. Medication has been given and we have sponsored it in full. It was RM27.

I found 6 new born puppies in the empty lot next to my office. I called PAWS & was told the best thing to do now is to leave it to the mother to care for them. I will check on the pups regularly. I will also try to feed the mother dog which is around.
