I joined the company about 9 months ago and there are many strays at the surrounding factories over here. I started feeding them after noticing another pack of dogs chased them away from the food stalls. So, hunting for food is fairly depends on their luck.

The Black Guardians Of The Datuks

We’ve noticed this pack of black dogs for many months now. They live in the big field in Subang Jaya where there is a clump f trees and inside this clump, are the plaques of three “Datuk”s. My husband often says they are the guardians of the Datuks and on my part, I hope the Datuks will protect them from harm so that they can continue living there in peace. They don’t disturb anyone, they just hang around there.

Amira Brought The 12 Cats/kittens To The Vet’s

I was not able to be at the vet’s today, but anyhow, since we have a subsidy scheme now, there is also no necessity for me to be present at the vet’s. Confidentiality between vet and client is to be respected.
Previously, we sponsored 100%, so I would have to be present.

The pool at Phuttamonthon (Dog island) has now been emptied and cleaned and although you would have thought the dogs had seen enough water to last a lifetime, many enjoy using it.
Soi Dog is currently getting estimates in to fulfill our promise to Khun Ruen to completely renovate and repair the shelter there and construct a new treatment/isolation area.

It had been alternating between raining and drizzling all evening until now.
Mr G could not come to the usual spot to chill this evening (in front of the Stargate). But he came on his round twice, on the ledge.

Just a quick update on Brushy, she’s been an enormous tub of fun for my household and have been trying to get along with my cat… quick. Unfortunately my cat has not been very receptive and friendly at all, in fact has been retaliating by hissing at the pup. Will be bringing Brushy for spaying soon.

Last saturday took Pak Din’s only female youngster(out of 6 )called ‘Tip’ to Klinik Kembiri in Setapak to be spayed. She has a white tip on her tail and that’s the reason Pak Din called her Tip. The others are Woo Kuei(black devil), Ah Hak(Black), Wollie, Wolf, and Badak all males.

We gave the last remaining 8 bags of Canine Caviar (puppy) to Jennifer SL Leong to be distributed to the fosterers and rescuers whom she liaises with.
5 bags went to Nadhirah who is fostering puppies, and another 2 bags have been given to Will Lim who recently rescued four puppies and are fostering them.

I went to speak with our vet today regarding Amira’s 12 cats/kittens which she is bringing in tomorrow for a check-up and treatment.
The vet said Amira has called the clinic and spoken to him. Apparently, according to Amira, there appears to be an outbreak of a fast-spreading contagious skin infection in her cats. We will know more tomorrow.

The Kawan is acting as middle-person to apply for help for the hoarder.
Initially, there were 30 dogs, but we found out 18 had died from distemper, so there are now 12 left.
Our first offer is to get these 12 vaccinated to protect them from further outbreak of any disease as the hoarder keeps bringing in animals from the street.
