Starky for Adoption — Happy Garden, KL
http://PetFinder.my/pets/66396
Think you can hurt this guy? Think again. Our little buddy here is probably related to Iron Man himself! He is so strong that you couldn't have guessed that Starky was a victim of a hit-and-run with cracked hips and broken legs.
Now, he is all better with tons of joy to share. With so much happiness and cheekiness to share, you'd surely be craving to spend more time with him everyday. Starky also loves cuddles and a good...

Brush the camel and pack up the rabbits – it's time to go to church!
One of the kindest ways to bless animals is to resolve to eat fewer of them. Farmed animals are also intelligent, sentient beings, after all.
On your next feast day, whatever you're celebrating, do so compassionately! We can help at http://KindMeal.my.

LITTLE DOG IN BOSNIA NEEDS US TONIGHT
One of our favorite rescuers, Caki Bravo is turning to us tonight for help:
"This innocent soul is only 4 months old," he writes. "She has already had a horrible destiny so far. Some monster from Sarajevo threw her of a bridge, 7-8 meters high. She had only 5 kilos. The police was informed but the monster ran off and nobody could find him or this baby for hours. A lady found her crawling down the street. In the middle of the poring rain, many people just w...

SATURDAY CRIME NIGHT – WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY
Wildlife photography is challenging. It requires sound technical skill, intimate knowledge of the animal's behaviour, and an abundance of patience. Capturing a wild animal on camera - in all its splendour - is a high point for all wildlife photographers.
However, in their quest to capture the best shots, a few photographers resort to unethical means and shortcuts that harm animals. That is an abject way of photographing animals. It is worthy of the...

Layla is very affectionate with humans but is a bit nervous with other cats! She would be best in a home where she was the only cat, or to live with a kitten so she doesn't feel threatened.

NATIVE WILDLIFE RESCUE ROUNDUP: 9th OCTOBER 2015
1. (Top left) Brownie is a shrike who was found stranded in a built-up environment. Our guess is that Brownie flew into a glass panel and went into a state of shock, stranding himself. Luckily, he didn’t sustain any injuries and was released immediately. We thank the caller to our Wildlife Rescue Hotline for keeping an eye on and getting help for the bird.
2. (Top right) TP is a reticulated python who was found on a traffic sign. With clearin...

We Have Good News For Dogs On This Island. The Gov.. 9th Oct 2015, by Langkawi Animal Shelter & Sanctuary Foundation
We have good news for dogs on this island. The government is currently offering rabies vaccination at only RM5 per dog. Your dog/dogs will automatically receive an identification collar at the same time. We do not know how long this 'offer' will go on, but we strongly advise dog owners to get their dogs vaccinated within this month.
