It’s not Ofie in that house. But the owner is a cat-lover and he promised to keep an eye out. And he pointed out the houses around that feed cats. So he assures Connie that there is no need to be afraid that there is no food because many people leave food behind. Connie says that this is true because she has been walking the back alleys of these houses and saw many left-overs. Plus there are no stray dogs.

Daisy, Dewey And Oprah Vaccinated!

Daisy’s “god-mother” (the anonymous fosterer) brought the whole gang to our vet for vaccination recently. It looks like Daisy, who was the weakest when first rescued, is now the alpha-queen of the brood!
Here’s our heroine, Daisy, grabbing her toy, Dolly the Sheep, real tight and refusing to let go when she was vaccinated.

Dog Shampoo (for Distribution)

Mrs Wai is giving away 15 boxes of dog shampoo (just newly expired) and has asked us to help her distribute.
Meiji has taken four boxes and there are now 11 boxes left for distribution.
The brand is “The Pet Supplies” and each bottle is 400ml. Mrs Wai herself has tested it on her own petdogs and found it to be very good even though it is newly expired (according to the supplier).
Each box has about 24 bottles of shampoo.

Brainy Is On Rainbow Bridge Now

My friend just texted to say Brainy has passed on.
Brainy is now on Rainbow Bridge, whole again, and happy. I am taught that rebirth is immediate and that is so comforting in times of bereavement. Brainy’s suffering is over now. No more pain. He is at peace now.
My personal thanks and gratitude go to my friend for making the effort of accompanying John Siang to the clinic, waiting in the queue, helping him during the consultation with the vet, giving him advice on what to do with Xiao Chea...

Humphrey's Story...
Humphrey was found by an Englishman working on a construction site. Humphrey had been savagely attacked and half his scalp had been sliced off.
Humphrey was raced to the shelter where he underwent immediate emergency treatment.
Today he is still frightened but he is gradually leaning to trust again which will be a long process, and of course he can never be returned to where he was found.

THE LUCKY 8 - AT 4 WEEKS OLD...Here's some more footage of the Lucky 8 puppies taken a couple of weeks ago at Cindy & Derek's house. Watch as Derek, Marcelo & James explore their new surroundings & start to play with each other. James (white pup) & Leonard (one of Reggie's pups) almost succumbed to illness in their early weeks, but thankfully all recovered & are now healthy puppies.
